I was just reading a question on how to make your down comforter all fluffy again and almost all the answers said that you can put some tennis balls in the dryer to make that happen. So how does that work exactly? Why does this happen? Can you use something else rather than tennis balls? Thank you!

Tommy Haas Swine Flu

The German tennis player, Tommy Haas, number 17 worldwide, announced Tuesday that he contracted the H1N1 virus, swine flu, but that he’s hoping to resume his training very shortly because he is almost cured, according the German Bild paper.

“It all started last week, during the Stockholm tennis tournament. I had a sore throat, I had fever and I was sweating at night,” said the 31 year old.
“For three days I did not come out of the hotel room. My doctor from Munich consulted me and the diagnosis was positive. It was a complete shock for me,” he added. Tommy Haas plans to start back his training soon because he no longer presents any symptoms of the flu.

“When you are in a good shape, as I am now, you heal relatively fast of this flu”, said Haas.

Nearly 30,000 germans contracted the A/H1N1 virus and 6 deaths were reported. Authorities asked the citizens to get vaccinated.

So far the Nike Air Max Court Ballistec 1.2 shoes are the ones I’m leaning towards. I’m trying to find a decent tennis shoe that is durable/lightweight and no more than $80. I just started playing tennis again so I’m not really sure which shoes are good.

I’m a high school tennis player, and I’m going to start conditioning for tennis next spring.
I’ve heard that if tennis players, because it’s a lot more sprinting than long distance running, shouldn’t train to jog for very long periods of time. Instead of helping you, it would hurt you by conditioning the body to do something you’re not asking it to do during a tennis match.
So, the question: how much/far should a tennis player jog for?
